Our Professional Blade-Changeable Surfacing Bit is designed for surfacing MDF spoilboards, flattening large areas of material, and carrying out general skimming and levelling operations on CNC routers. Whether you are re-surfacing a spoilboard, machining wide panels, planing large natural wood slabs, or flattening timber such as live-edge boards and tree stumps, this cutter delivers consistent material removal and a clean, flat finish across the full cutting width.

Built for long-term professional use, the cutter features replaceable tungsten carbide blades, allowing the tool to last a lifetime. When the inserts become blunt, they can simply be replaced, restoring performance without the cost of a complete new cutter. This makes it an extremely cost-effective solution for workshops that rely on regular surfacing operations.

Check your inbox and junk mail. Our introductory email is sent approximately five minutes after your order is confirmed and may have landed there instead.

Reply to the email with as much detail as possible about your CNC machine, spindle speed, tool size and the materials you intend to cut. Our applications team will then help you establish suitable feeds, speeds and depths per pass to the best of our ability.

Personalised Feeds & Speeds

Every cutter purchased includes free personalised feeds and speeds from our in-house CNC applications team. The above is a graph we made for a client that ordered a range of compression cutter sizes.

Simply reply to the automated email sent five minutes after ordering with a few details about your setup, including your machine model, spindle RPM, material, and order number. We'll send back recommended feed rates, plunge rates, and maximum depths per pass, all tailored specifically to your setup.
